I was poking around looking for old barns on a back road in Edray, West Virginia, last week when I saw this old store. It blew me away. I mean, it could be on a Clint Eastwood set. Can't you just imagine town folk meandering along that porch to get their supplies? I was parked on the side of the road when a local resident did what country folk do: She stoped to make sure I was OK. When I asked about this building she said, as if it were nothing special, "Oh, that's just the old general store."
It always amazes me how we take for granted those things we see every day. Man, I LOVE the back roads of America. This beautiful photo is available for purchase as satin fine-art paper prints, satin metal prints, canvas gallery wraps and acrylic prints.
