The vintage steam locomotive Big Boy 4014 passes through the old cantilever bridge in Plaquemine, La. The locomotive is one of 25 Big Boys ordered by Union Pacific, with the first being delivered in 1941. Big Boy 4014 was retired in 1961 after logging more than 1 million miles in its 20-year history. Union Pacific restored the old locomotive and put it back into service in 2019 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad.
The beautiful color photo of Big Boy 4014 is available for purchase in various sizes and media, including satin fine-art paper prints, satin metal prints, canvas gallery wraps and acrylic prints.
