Mabry Mill sits at the Blue Ridge Parkway's milepost 176, and a visit is like stepping into the past when small mills provided flour to local residents. The old mill was built about 1910 by Edwin B. Mabry. It fell into disrepair after his death, and the National Park Service restored and landscaped the mill in 1945.
